Hi folks. I, along with my super awesome team, are responsible for the hourly studios, gear rentals, cartage, repairs, marketing, etc. I’ve been a recording artist in LA since 1990, toured the world, been signed and unsigned 14 times and had many ups and downs on this roller coaster we call the music biz. Because of this I’ve had the opportunity to rehearse at many crappy studios with broken gear, bad attitudes and general stankiness. Or I’ve been gouged with overpriced rentals, exceptionally mediocre service, or worse. I thought there had to be a way to deliver a better experience. How about some decent gear? A PA system where I can actually hear the vocals anywhere in the room? How about less attitude from the guy at the front desk who clearly wishes me dead? Does it really cost a lot to have some vibe? The answer is Bedrock. We’re still young, but we’re growing and we have a great reputation. If we can make your experience better, please contact me anytime.

Johnny Gabriel O’Donnell
Studio Manager/Partner
Bedrock Rehearsal, LLC

Southern hospitality comes in slim, but heavy doses when Johnny takes care to take care to make sure to verify that all the Bedrock customers have smiling faces each and every day they make our studios their musical domiciles.

If you really want to reciprocate the love Bedrock has for you talk to Johnny about his favorites topics; Michael Jackson, local L.A. history and anything but “the Demise” of the music industry. Because here at Bedrock we just don’t give a damn what the pundits say- our cottage industry is running at full tilt!

Ben Reddell
Assistant Studio Manager/Partner
Bedrock Rehearsal, LLC

Ben’s always there to help.  Whether you need help setting up your rehearsal, or naming your first born, Ben can do it all!  Born in the rolling hills of Texas, Ben’s been doing music in LA for nearly a decade.  Please feel free to stop him in the hallway.  If he helps you, kiss him, he has earned it.

Marty Sataman
Customer Service/Asst. Repair Tech
Bedrock Rehearsal, LLC

Marty works in the Hourly office and helps out with minor repairs in the Reanimation Station.  He has an extensive knowledge of many things technical. Sushi is his favorite food.  He has a cat named Robocop.  When he’s not on the clock, he can usually be found rehearsing here with one of the millions of bands he plays in, or out in front doing 360 flips.  He prefers to call them “trois cent soixante flips” because he thinks it makes him sound more sophisticated.  This one time he got food poisoning from the steak tartare over at… well, ask him because it’s personal…

Marshall Vore
Customer Service/Drum Tech
Bedrock Rehearsal, LLC

Marshall is half redneck half customer service. He will get your vocals running hot in the mix of our high quality studios. He knows the rules well, which is how he is able to bend them to make your experience at Bedrock top-notch. He can wrap cables better than most people can do anything. He takes pleasure in making sure the rooms are vacuumed and smell like rose pedals and ice cold A/C. His experience as a touring musician with his band Olin & The Moon has sharpened his intuition in to a cutting edge weapon. He uses these tactics to already know what you and your rehearsal want and need. That being said, he is a 24 year old Pisces who knows when to cut lose and when to buckle down. Full of friendly suggestions and a positive attitude, you can’t help but let him be a resource to you. He has a knack for stereo XLR’s, D.I. boxes, fetching music stands and trouble shooting signal flow. It’s hard not to feel at home at Bedrock, Marshall is just another part of that.
