Bedrock is super excited to announce some major upgrades to our hourly rehearsal rooms. With brand new PAs and drum kits, your rehearsals will sound better than ever!
PAs
If you’ve ever heard your singer complain they can’t hear themselves, you need to trot on down to Bedrock and rehearse. All of the regular rooms now have brand new QSC KW122 series mains and K10 monitors. The showcase rooms have the cream of the crop, the KW153 3-way mains and the subs now feature twice the power as before. Additionally, we’ve added dbx Driverack systems in the showcase rooms which allows us to perfectly tune the room, making the balance perfect. Plus, equalization, compression and automatic feedback canceling features make sure you are getting the most out of the system without annoying feedback. There’s very few rehearsal spots within 100 miles that could compete with our systems, and literally NONE of them can compete with our low pricing.
Drums
Thanks to a generous deal directly from Yamaha Corporation, we will be replacing ALL the drum sets, including hardware. Every room will feature a distinct finish from the venerable Tour Custom series of drums. We chose the Tour Custom series because it’s been a staple of professional players for many years. Additionally, we received a beautiful red sparkle Oak Custom kit for our back line rental division, so if you need to rent a kit for recording or a gig that sounds amazing, and is still affordable, this is the one. Each rehearsal room will now have a 5-piece kit, and except for the finish, will be identical. There’s something nice about knowing whichever room you book, it’s going to have a great drum set you can count on.
]]>June 26, SAVE THE DATE…all day because we’re celebrating the 100th issue of LA Record and raising money for our friends at Los Angeles Performing Arts Foundation (LAPAF) with a big asse party. This one will be outside in the North parking lot of Bedrock Studios, will include live performances by 1500 or Nothing (Snoop’s backing band), Green Eyes, Jimetta Rose, Big Whup, Ulli and the Gringos, and more… Stay tuned for more details!!
